In illustrator we have been given a task to create a new logo for the local shopping centre. We then had to create it into a display business card. Here is how i went.
Good first effort. Consistent use of colour. Nice use of negative (white) space. I would like to see another logo design (see below):
LOGO DESIGN #2 - I would like another logo design with no text inside the initials as this will be unreadable at a small scale. Instead of using initials I would like you to come up with a symbol logo (simple iconic picture that could be used to represent the Marketplace). Then place the "Marketplace" text underneath or beside it. This will provide the client with an alternative that should be quite different from the first concept. Also, think about the choice of colour - the Marketplace should appear fun, vibrant and friendly. Your simple symbol should also demonstrate this atmosphere where possible.
